So, what drama has happened this week, you might ask..
Well there have been many dramas in the week thus far, the first being that I found out on Tuesday that needed to go to the Korean Embassy to get my work visa, problem with that is that I live in Dunedin and the Embassy is in Wellington. Ended up calling in sick to work on Tuesday, coz I had to call the Embassy to find out how long a visa would take, which was 2-3 working days, then I had to courrier my passport and the visa application to Wellington, the problem with that was that it would not get back to Dunedin in time before I was supposed to leave for Korea.
This means that I am now currently in Wellington and staying with Sarah, waiting for my visa to be ready tomorrow. So, I had to change the domestic flights that I had already made (which is not a cheap thing to do) so that I could stop in Wellington on the way to Auckland, this meant leaving more than 36 hours earlier than I had originally planned. The last 2 days have just flown by, on Tuesday, I go all my flights sorted and my visa application as well as MYOB for my Dad, as they sold me a blank CD instead of one with the programme on it.
Then yesterday, I had my final briefing with my supervising lecturer at College and got all my assignments back, and I bet you can't guess what my lowest mark was.....
it was an A.
Then I went to visit my nephew for a few hours, which was way fun, he is such an awesome kid, though I now have teeth marks on my glasses frame because I wasn't fast enough in getting them back from him. It was a lot of fun being able to play with him that length of time, he knows who I am now, it's really going to suck when I come home for a visit because he won't know me any more.
Anyway, I'll keep you updated on any other mishaps I have, I still have two more flights and I havent actually picked up my visa yet. Let's pray to the gods that everything runs reasonably smoothly from here on out, and that I don't leave my book on the plane like I did this morning!
