Ok, so I hae no idea is anyone still checks this.

I can't believe that I've so lazy that I forgot to blog for an entire year. It probably doesn't help that my hard drive died earlier this year.
I've actually completed a one year contract in Korea, been home to NZ on a holiday and recently returned to do another contract. Scary, huh?
I have just this week started a job at a new academy, where I have the cushy hours of 3pm till 9pm. The old job was evil, 9.30am till 6.30pm with 10 classes a day, now I should have only 3 or 4, not sure yet coz I don't actually get any classes of my own until next week.
To tell the truth I actually have absolutely no idea what to write about, a lot has happened in the last year, my nephew is almost 2 and I am going to be getting a niece in January. My dad had a gastric bypass and lost 56kgs.
The All Whites got into the soccer world cup for the first time since 1982 and the second time ever. The Aussies lost to Scotland, which I personally found hilarious, laughed for quite some time over that one.
I am going to attempt to continue to blog on a regular basis. Right now I'm going to try and remember the names of my friends blogs, really should keep this stuff written down somewhere.
laters.

So, what drama has happened this week, you might ask..

Well there have been many dramas in the week thus far, the first being that I found out on Tuesday that needed to go to the Korean Embassy to get my work visa, problem with that is that I live in Dunedin and the Embassy is in Wellington. Ended up calling in sick to work on Tuesday, coz I had to call the Embassy to find out how long a visa would take, which was 2-3 working days, then I had to courrier my passport and the visa application to Wellington, the problem with that was that it would not get back to Dunedin in time before I was supposed to leave for Korea.
This means that I am now currently in Wellington and staying with Sarah, waiting for my visa to be ready tomorrow. So, I had to change the domestic flights that I had already made (which is not a cheap thing to do) so that I could stop in Wellington on the way to Auckland, this meant leaving more than 36 hours earlier than I had originally planned. The last 2 days have just flown by, on Tuesday, I go all my flights sorted and my visa application as well as MYOB for my Dad, as they sold me a blank CD instead of one with the programme on it.
Then yesterday, I had my final briefing with my supervising lecturer at College and got all my assignments back, and I bet you can't guess what my lowest mark was.....
it was an A.
Then I went to visit my nephew for a few hours, which was way fun, he is such an awesome kid, though I now have teeth marks on my glasses frame because I wasn't fast enough in getting them back from him. It was a lot of fun being able to play with him that length of time, he knows who I am now, it's really going to suck when I come home for a visit because he won't know me any more.
Anyway, I'll keep you updated on any other mishaps I have, I still have two more flights and I havent actually picked up my visa yet. Let's pray to the gods that everything runs reasonably smoothly from here on out, and that I don't leave my book on the plane like I did this morning!

Hello Again

So, I a, changing timezones again soon, next week in fact. Going back to South Korea, it will be nice to have money again, I can't say that I particularly enjoy being broke all the time.
Not a great deal has happened over the last few weeks though, I finished my final assignment on Monday and handed it in on Tuesday, such excitement, no more assignments or essays or anything evil like that.
Have been playing with Jack quite a bit, he's so cute. He's crawling around all over the place and sitting up on his own now, even feeds himself. He'll be 8 months old tomorrow, I'll miss him so much when I go, but they have promised to send many pictures and I intend to come home for Christmas next year, if it is possible. My cousin had her second kid yesterday, a boy called Noah, he was about 7 pounds and born at like 3am.
Have been eating all my favourite foods, I doubt that I will miss most of it, I didn't last time I was away. I can't wait to be able to have chum chi kimbap for lunch every day and galbi and mondo and don cas, mmmmmm yum and I can have them next week, yey!

Back Again

So not much has happened since the last time. There are no less than 4 weeks till I go back to South Korea and i have fallen back into old habits and can't be bothered doing assignments again, so am handing some of them in late. Though i doubt i'm the only one who can't be bothered writing a 4000 word essay on the issues surrounding ICT use in New Zealand schools.
Will have to do it tomorrow coz i've still got 4 more assignments to get done by the end of next week, what fun! Though in less than 4 weeks assignments will be a thing of the past, not the present or the future.
Oh, and i found some really cute photos of my nephew, thought you might want to see one.
This is Jack, isn't he just the cutest.
Anyway, i suppose i should get to work on some of those assigments, talk to you again soon.

Wow, it has been a while

This is only going to be a very short summary of the last 6 months.
1. Nephew is now 6 months old and so very cute
2. Am so tired it's not funny, currently on the last week of a 7 week teaching practicum in Invercargill.
3. Haven't had a holiday since easter, I really need the holiday that starts on Saturday.
4. Moved back into my parents house to save money.
5. Am moving back to Korea to teach English again, leave on October 31.
6. Really can't wait.
7. Am so sick of being sick or sore, I really wish the doctors would decide what is wrong with me.
8. Getting a camera shoved down your throat to look into you stomach isn't fun - especially when they tell you you have ulcers, but can't figure out why.
9. Is only 7 weeks left till I finish my teaching degree.
10. I am leaving in less than 6 weeks.

Okay, thats enough, will try to write more often from now on.
