Still alive

still in pain, still grumpy. That pretty much covers it all I believe. I'm going to physio today so that should hopefully help. Also have to spend all afternoon in class, what fun! Spoke to the cops on Monday morning, nothing that can be done since I didn't get the plate. Um, had an 8am class yesterday morning, it was supposed to tbe 2 hours long, ended up being 20 mintues, man was i pissed that I got out of bed for a lousy 20 minutes of class, especially as it was all i had all day.
Not a lot else happening, have to go now, bus to catch, can't be late for class and physio now can I. Later, just thought you would all want to know that I am still alive and complaining.

stupid fucking people in cars

this is my new opinion of drivers, as today one of them hit me and knocked me off my bike, thus i am not currently able to walk, and my injured knee is now a LOT WORSE. So sympathy presents are very welcome! can't be bothered writing any more, i'm in too much pain. going to find things to laugh at now.

Good news ...

Summer school is finally over, just finished my last exam, only nee 11.5% to pass, so should have done okay even though I stuffed up one of the essays, I knew the definition of an idea wasn't quite right but could I for the life of me remember the exact definition, no of course not! Well, now I have no more exams until June and then I only have one, thank heavens for that. Went into my Maori exam yesterday having already passed, having done all the internation assessment I was already sitting on 54.6%, if I'm lucky I should get an A+, depends on how well I did in the exam though. I have spent the last 4 days studying my ass off, so I had better pass everything.
In other good news, we finally got carpet on Saturday, so what decided to happen, well, the weather got great and the house has been so damned hot it's not funny, sleeping has not been easy.
I must also say that I am in a much better modd this week, which is strange considering the exams and all. I am already sick of students, I know I am one again and all, but I'm sick of them all the same, they are absolutely bloody everywhere, driving me mad, uni is so congested, Summer school was great, only 2,000 students, now there are just over 20,000 students, not fun at all.
Oh, yes and I must mention that the way the NZ cricket team kicked the Aussie butts in the last 3 games has also been magnificent, yesterday's game was just awesome!
So, what's next for me you might ask? Well, I have a meeting tomorrow about my teaching course, I will be spending Friday in a school, on Saturday I'm going to the rugby, then on Monday the first semester starts, but I only have class 2 days a week, thank the gods and I should be able to get some rest. Oh, plus I have to work on both Saturday and Sunday, since I have Friday off to be in a school, ever so annoying that is.
Oh, and it is only 23 days until Mum and Dad move closer to me, did I mention that they sold their house last Thursday and bought one 5 minutes from where I am currently living, well they did. I thought they should move to Mosgeil but they vetoed that idea, it's too far away from the sea. They won't be able to see the sea from their new place, but they will definitely be able to hear it, as it is closer to the beach than my place is.
Anyway, I'm meeting Sera and Mark for dinner shortly, so I'll talk to you all again soon. Have fun!

ok, so what's been happening?

Well, I've been sick, finally beginning to get better though, only a slight headache today, wouldn't have been so bad had I not written an essay with it, but hey these things just have to be done!
Did course approval for the year today, took 5 minutes, was great. Just had a meeting with Ross, sorted out what papers I have already done and what I need to take, which was a grang total of 3 papers. Then went and handed in my form.
Got sick of my mp3 player being broken last week so I bought an i-pod, a 2GB nano, so yey, I have music with me at all times again.
Had a peaceful weekend, Pete is in Auckland playing cricket, he's not back until tomorrow night. Mark and Sera came over for dinner on Saturday night, I made some very yummy cannoli, was yummy too. Mum and Dad made an offer on a house that is far too close to where I live now, I suggested that they move to Mosgiel, they unfortunately vetoed that idea coz it's too far away from the sea. I can only say that I tried.
Um, I think that's about it, though this is the last week of summer school classes and I have exams next week, lots of fun, then straight into the teaching stuff, I think the only fun thing this semester will be the paper I'm taking on the Age of Heroes: Myceaens, Trojans and Greeks. (Kat, aren't you just really jealous now? I'll be kind and email the notes to you if you send me my Christmas present, same goes for Sarah, especially since Mum and Dad may be moving soon!)
Yeah, okay, thats all I have to say coz you don't want to know my current opinion of work and the people I work with, I'm telling you it's not very complimentary! Later.

Anyone want a headache?

I'm giving it away, believe me, have had it since last Wednesday night. It's really beginning to piss me off too, though it was an excellent excuse for an extention on my essay. Went to the doctor, he gave me pills and a medical certificate. Other than being sick not too much has happened, well actually, Pete got a chucking bug, kindly gave it me too. Mum and Dad have pretty much sold their house and are looking at places which are about 5 minutes away from me, aren't I lucky. Um, sat a test this morning that I didn't even study for, I think I did pretty well considering, except I can't tell time in Maori, so there is a couple of marks lost. Um, went to the movies yesterday, saw Blood Diamond, we pretty good, if a bit too long, then went to the beach as it was a great day.
Am trying to think 0f other things but they aren't coming to me, oh, might be going to Wellington at Easter, so that could be fun too. Just to get awa from here for a few days, thought about going to Queenstown but it's just too expensive.
Pete is away for 4 days this weekend on a cricket trip to Auckland, so I have the flat to myself, 4 wonderful days of sleeping and peace, I wonder if I can ignore the fact that I have to study since my summer school exams are in like 2 weeks.
Anyway, got to go and finish an assignment and had it in, shouldn't take too long, I did half of it in 5 minutes before my test this morning.
