So, what drama has happened this week, you might ask..

Well there have been many dramas in the week thus far, the first being that I found out on Tuesday that needed to go to the Korean Embassy to get my work visa, problem with that is that I live in Dunedin and the Embassy is in Wellington. Ended up calling in sick to work on Tuesday, coz I had to call the Embassy to find out how long a visa would take, which was 2-3 working days, then I had to courrier my passport and the visa application to Wellington, the problem with that was that it would not get back to Dunedin in time before I was supposed to leave for Korea.
This means that I am now currently in Wellington and staying with Sarah, waiting for my visa to be ready tomorrow. So, I had to change the domestic flights that I had already made (which is not a cheap thing to do) so that I could stop in Wellington on the way to Auckland, this meant leaving more than 36 hours earlier than I had originally planned. The last 2 days have just flown by, on Tuesday, I go all my flights sorted and my visa application as well as MYOB for my Dad, as they sold me a blank CD instead of one with the programme on it.
Then yesterday, I had my final briefing with my supervising lecturer at College and got all my assignments back, and I bet you can't guess what my lowest mark was.....
it was an A.
Then I went to visit my nephew for a few hours, which was way fun, he is such an awesome kid, though I now have teeth marks on my glasses frame because I wasn't fast enough in getting them back from him. It was a lot of fun being able to play with him that length of time, he knows who I am now, it's really going to suck when I come home for a visit because he won't know me any more.
Anyway, I'll keep you updated on any other mishaps I have, I still have two more flights and I havent actually picked up my visa yet. Let's pray to the gods that everything runs reasonably smoothly from here on out, and that I don't leave my book on the plane like I did this morning!

Hello Again

So, I a, changing timezones again soon, next week in fact. Going back to South Korea, it will be nice to have money again, I can't say that I particularly enjoy being broke all the time.
Not a great deal has happened over the last few weeks though, I finished my final assignment on Monday and handed it in on Tuesday, such excitement, no more assignments or essays or anything evil like that.
Have been playing with Jack quite a bit, he's so cute. He's crawling around all over the place and sitting up on his own now, even feeds himself. He'll be 8 months old tomorrow, I'll miss him so much when I go, but they have promised to send many pictures and I intend to come home for Christmas next year, if it is possible. My cousin had her second kid yesterday, a boy called Noah, he was about 7 pounds and born at like 3am.
Have been eating all my favourite foods, I doubt that I will miss most of it, I didn't last time I was away. I can't wait to be able to have chum chi kimbap for lunch every day and galbi and mondo and don cas, mmmmmm yum and I can have them next week, yey!

Back Again

So not much has happened since the last time. There are no less than 4 weeks till I go back to South Korea and i have fallen back into old habits and can't be bothered doing assignments again, so am handing some of them in late. Though i doubt i'm the only one who can't be bothered writing a 4000 word essay on the issues surrounding ICT use in New Zealand schools.
Will have to do it tomorrow coz i've still got 4 more assignments to get done by the end of next week, what fun! Though in less than 4 weeks assignments will be a thing of the past, not the present or the future.
Oh, and i found some really cute photos of my nephew, thought you might want to see one.
This is Jack, isn't he just the cutest.
Anyway, i suppose i should get to work on some of those assigments, talk to you again soon.
