Figured it was about time ...

that I actually bothered to update, I've been thinking about it for a gew weeks but I've also been rather lazy, well, and busy too. I have an exam on Thursday so am doing a lot of study, plus I start my teaching prac on Monday, so I've been getting ready for that too. I should actually make a list of all the things that I need to get done before I go, coz for some reason I just keep forgetting to get them done, so tomorrow I shall be making a list.
Being away on prac also means that I won't be around for like a month, so Kat, seeing as you are not around yet again, I can't talk to you. And Sarah has a point when she says you should reply to your messages coz you haven't replied to any of mine for the past couple of weeks. I also bet that you haven't remembered to send my birthday present either, you know, if I were you I'd reply pretty soon or I may feel the urge to call you at some ungodly hour of the morning and wake you up, just so that I can make sure that you are still alive.
So, anyway, you might ask what I have been up to lately, well other than study and work I have read quite a few new books, the new Sherrilyn Kenyon, Christine Feehan, Angela Knight and a few others, which probably have not helped my study. The strange thing is that one of the books I ordered had the first 28 pages missing, so I had to go to the trouble of getting it replaced.
I also got new glasses and contact lenses, which was rather expensive but also kind of nice, especially seeing as I am able to see properly again, it has been rather novel. And, now I can't even remember half the things that I was going to mention when I wrote this damn thing, which goes to show that I shouldn't have been so lazy and I should have written this sooner and more often.
Well, I'm losing my flatmates in 2 weeks and am gaining some new ones, a guy came over today and he seemed ok, not sure if I want to live with him though and Mark said that I have the power of veto when it comes to choosing new flatmates, I'm not sure I want to live here alone with a guy I don't know and he was reluctant to talk about himself which didn't make things any easier, I'll have to think about it, it's not like I have to make the decision right now. But anyway, I gotta get going as I have quite a bit more study I need to be getting done, even though I only need 10% to pass my exam, but hey, I'd like to get a good mark for a change.
Oh, and I don't remember if I informed anyone or not, but I'm getting a nephew at the beginning of February so I am rather excited about that, yey!
