I know ....

I've been a little lazy lately and haven't updated in a while. Well, I've been busy too, working and then there was Christmas, and I did send most of you aChristmas email.
There really hasn't been a lot of interesting stuff happening, other than the car breaking down on the was home on Christmas day and a two and a half hour trip turned in to a 7 hour trip.
Plus, I think I've found a place to move into, which will be really good, living at home with parents isn't always easy, but then again moving into a flat with 3 guys probably won't be much of a picnic either.
Am working at the moment, just helping out at my old job for a couple of weeks, so people can have holidays, only working in the mornings 3 days a week, it's a bugger having to get up, but I'm managing. I suppose it would better if I slept at night instead of chatting online, then I wouldn't need a nap in the afternoon after work, but it's not like I have anything better to do.
Yeah, I think that's about all, since I know you don't want to hear me complaining about the bad Christmas I had, I hope all of your was better than mine. Catch you all later.

p.s. Sarah, you still haven't sent me your address, and if you don't you won't have a Chrastmas present coz I won't be able to send it!

So, Home Again!

Just got back from Invercargill, and man do funerals suck, though it was good to see the rest of my family even though I'll be seeing them all on Xmas Day anyway!
I have found out that I now have 2 pregnant cousins, what an intelligent family I have! But otherwise I think everyone is reasonably well, which I good. Met some family I had never met before at the funeral, so that was good, always nice to know where you can find relations so that you can scam a free place to sleep when you're passing through, so now I know someone in Wellington.
I don't think I really have anything else to report, as no one like to hear about funerals, and I know I don't like to go to them. Anyway, catch you all later.

Home again!

So, am home for good now, well, a couple of years at least. AS you probably read I've had a pretty good time in Oz. Well, after the day at Seaworld we went to Draculas, an awesome theatre restaurant, the show was so so funny, it was a great night, they have excellent cocktails too, even if they are a bit expensive. Then we went to Brisbane, for 3 days, did a sightseeing tour and a river cruise and the spent our last day with old family friends from Bluff, it was definitely a blast from the past.
Got home and the pilot had told us it was 25 degrees C, guess what, it so wasn't. Apparently as soon as we got back the weather turned to shit! Aren't I just so lucky. Anyway, I had a really great time and that's all that matters. Except for when Dad called at 6.30am on Monday morning to say that his uncle had died and that we have a funeral to go to on Saturday. So, I shall be away visiting all my rellies this weekend.
Oh, and Kat, I finally remembered to call your aunt yesterday, so I'm dropping off that painting for your parents tomorrow on my way to Invercargill. And Sarah, if you want you Xmas present you will have to tell me what your address is so that I can post it, but I'm not sending it until after you have posted mine!
Ok, I can't be bothered writing any more, so I'll talk to you all later.

I want a ...

POLAR BEAR. Yes, a live one, have just come back from Seaworld, where I tried to take one home but they wouldn't let me. Had to settle for a stuffed one instead, they are no fun. I'm sure I would have easily been able to smuggle one through customs.
Oh, and good news, my eye is much better. I went to the doctor yesterday ($60) and her prescribed me some drops ($27), so it was a rather expensive trip to the doc.
Anyway, I have to go, so the screen is flashing and saying I only have a minute left.
Later everyone!

Surfers

So, Oz is all nice and warm, am having heaps of fun. Went to Movie World yesterday, went on all the rides. did the Wild West Adventure twice, was heaps of fun. I am going to apologise now for any spelling mistakes as I only have one eye that works at the moment, I think I might have scratched the eyeball somehow, am going to the doctor in a moment.
So anyway, went to Movie World, it was heaps of fun. Had dinner at Sizzler with Lynette on Sunday night, was good to see her again. We're going to Seaworld tomorrow and then Dracula's (a theatre restaurant) tomorrow night, that will be a long day. I have to go to Pacific Fair again today coz I need something to read, only bought 2 books with and have already finished both and the book store at Broadbeach Mall sux.
Going to Brisbane on Friday, so that should be fun too. Catch you all later, I'm going to find out about being able to see again, yey!
